After developing an admissions Web feature and completing a total Web site overhaul, Vanderbilt University’s Peabody College, needed a print piece to complement the look and feel of the Web pieces. This book, paired with the new Web site, is the primary communications tool in the support of enrollment, increased selectivity and giving.
Half the size of a piece of paper, the viewbook is unconventional in both size and technique. The book is structured much like a corporate annual report, with a clear front and back. The first 24 pages, both high in color and photography, visually explore the Peabody Difference in a stylistic way and drive people to different parts of the Web site with specific urls. The final 16 pages, printed on textured uncoated paper, explain the “nuts and bolts” of the institution with a constant call to visit the Web.
The book invites you to discover how Peabody College differs from other institutions and answers the posed question, “Why Peabody?”. In addition to further defining the Peabody Difference the following ideas are illustrated through stories and quotes from students, faculty and alumni, woven with facts and emotion:
