Karen excels at creating the focus and structure necessary to translate client marketing and communications goals into cohesive communications campaigns — from banner ads and postcards to program brochures and university websites.

Not only a strategist, Karen’s implementation expertise in writing, editing, information architecture, design, production and content development is the result of her more than 10 years of experience working with universities, corporations and not-for-profits. As a former communications manager for a national not-for-profit, Karen also understands the expectations and demands placed on in-house staff.

Outside of Zehno, Karen enjoys experimenting in the kitchen and exploring new restaurants. She also volunteers with Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) in Orleans Parish.

Karen earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism degree from Northwestern University.
