As the first point of contact for clients who call, Julie is an integral member of the Zehno team. With her friendly demeanor and organizational skills, she helps us run a tight ship, assisting with general office maintenance and administrative work.

Originally from Mt. Aukum, CA (famed for gold mines in 1848 and Zinfandel wines in 2009), Julie made her way to the University of New Orleans to earn her degree in General Studies with minors in Psychology, Anthropology and Childhood Education. She’s enjoyed various positions in the publishing world, from bookseller to buyer to writer to blogger. Julie loves having 50 things going on at once, likening her job to that of an air traffic controller. And her time spent as a Development Coordinator at the Audubon Nature Institute has developed her appreciation for zebra-rhino hybrids.

When not working with Zehno, Julie listens to live music and rides her tandem bike around City Park with her family. An avid traveler, her next big trips include Glacier National Park, Montana with the family and a girls’ trip to Tokyo. She is currently plugging away at rebuilding her Lakeview home, so she’s always eyeing blueprints, watching HGTV and reading design magazines for ideas.
