A typical army brat from an atypical civilian family, Courtenay moved every six months of her life.

Courtenay has incorporated her people skills—developed from this lifetime of relocating—into a solid career as an office administrator. Juggling multiple tasks from multiple people is her knack.

In her previous careers, Courtenay worked with local news and the BBC, but soon realized television was not for her. With a love for all things oceanic, she launched a new career in the marine industry. For nine years, she did everything from selling to repossessing vessels.

Court’s rambling ways came to an end when she moved to New Orleans from Florida four years ago.

She is an avid runner and participates in the Mardi Gras Marathon every year.

Courtenay graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a BA in Communication.
