New Orleans Ours certainly isnt! Our Zehnomobile was a red Mazda Miata in its former life. It now sports wild yellow and black zebra stripes, has big rhino horns on the front, and a little fuzzy wagging tail on the trunk. The transformation from sporty to stripey occurred at the time that our company rebranded itself after 15 years in business. We adopted the Zehno mascot, a cross between a zebra and a rhinoceros. At the same time, Zehnos managing partner Paulette Hurdlik was trying to sell her midlife crisis car, her red Mazda. Paulette said: Seems red Miata convertibles need other ladies with two important components: a midlife crisis, and of course, cash. The only other people who were interested in buying the car were young boys who lacked the second criteria. So we transformed it into the Zehnomobile! The best part of driving the car (and we all get to) is seeing the reaction of motorists, local children, and especially tourists. And its attracting attention beyond the streets of New Orleans. The Zehnomobile is featured in the August 2002 edition of HOW Magazine, a top-rated national design magazine. Zehno, with headquarters in New Orleans, is an integrated marketing communications company specializing in developing print and Web strategies and tools for institutions with an educational mission.
