Director of Cross Media Strategy Karen Buck will present two sessions: The Five W’s of a Communications Audit and Writing for the Web: The Power of Persuasion Architecture.
Both presentations will feature tips, how-tos and case studies on proven communication tactics in the higher education marketplace.
The communications audit presentation will cover
- what an audit is
- why an institution should consider one
- who should conduct an audit
- where an audit begins (and ends!)
- when an audit runs out of steam
The Web writing presentation will discuss how to approach the development and structure of Web copy so that it engages and satisfies the needs of diverse audiences.
A Q&A at the end of each session will allow participants to seek advice on their unique situations.
