Zehno Cross Media Communications
Wins Silver and Gold Medals
in CASE 2002 Circle of Excellence

New Orleans — Zehno Cross Media Communications has won both a gold and a silver medal in the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) 2002 International Circle of Excellence Awards.

The gold medal piece is a recruitment brochure aimed at prospective MBA students for the Freeman School of Business at Tulane University. The Zehno/Tulane entry was one of only two in a field of 117 entries to be awarded the gold in the Individual Student Recruitment Publications category.

CASE judges said: “The design was clean and well-organized, and the writing was top-flight. In our view, a gold medal should be reserved for those publications without flaws….”

Zehno’s silver medal award was for its work on Vision: 2001 Report of the Dean for the Columbia Business School, in the Individual Development Publications category. The report was chosen as a medalist from among the 274 entries in the category.

As part of the communications strategy for a capital campaign, the report highlighted the Columbia Business School’s record of success and its vision for the future. It assessed the initiatives and innovations that have transformed the school, and recognized its lifelong network of alumni around the globe.

Entries in the category were judged upon understanding of the target audience(s); how well the institution’s mission was communicated; the content, writing, editing, layout, design, and print quality of the publication; its budget, and creative use of available resources.
