New Orleans The New Orleans chapter of the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) recently elected its 200102 board members. Rod Lemaire, of Zehno Cross Media Communications, was elected President. The AIGA is a membership organization for professionals, educators and students who are interested in furthering excellence in communication design as a broadly defined discipline, as a strategic tool for business, and as a cultural force. The AIGA is the place design professionals turn first to exchange ideas and information, participate in critical analysis and research, and advance education and ethical practice. The New Orleans chapter of AIGA for designers living in Louisiana and the Gulf Coast has more than 140 members.
