New Orleans For this years holiday greeting, Zehno Cross Media Communications produced a childrens book about a stranded animal (a zehno, of course!) who creates a happy home out of the lonely island on which she was shipwrecked. New Orleans Times-Picayune illustrator Kenneth Harrison teamed with Zehno writer Michaela Morrissey to create a touching tale of an animal who wins fame for her creative space. Printed on thick cardboard pages used for books for toddlers, the book was sent to Zehno clients, vendors and friends many of whom immediately contacted Zehno to express their delight. Past years holiday messages have included New Orleans calendars and donations to the Heifer Project International made in the name of each client and friend. Zehno, with headquarters in New Orleans, is an integrated marketing communications company specializing in developing print and Web strategies and tools for institutions with an educational mission. Its portfolio of clients includes Columbia Business School, Columbia University School of Social Work, The Graduate Management Admission Council (Washington, DC), Dominican University (California), Population Action International (Washington, DC), and Volunteers of America (Washington, DC), among other colleges, universities, independent schools, museums, associations, and other not-for-profits worldwide.
