Zehno Earns Bronze in 2006 CASE Circle of Excellence Awards Zehno Cross Media Communications was honored with two bronze awards in the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) 2006 Circle of Excellence Awards. One of the award-winning pieces is Pacific Rising 1995-2005, a decade report produced for University of the Pacific. The publication was chosen out of fifty entries in the Individual Alumni Relations Publications category. In the ten years since University of the Pacific president Donald DeRosa stepped into the role, the school’s endowment has increased 280%, applications have more than doubled, and SAT scores have grown 100 points. The school asked Zehno to create a report that would showcase this transformation and serve as a foundation for future growth and fundraising. Zehno’s second award was for the University of the Pacific’s Admissions Web site. The work was earned a bronze in a field of 101 other entries in the Web site category. As part of an undergraduate admissions campaign, the Web site utilizes a scrapbook/journal style to draw in prospective students. They are allowed to access all the essential information in an effective, relatable manner. The “I am Pacific” concept gives form to student life and the university environment by way of first-person stories, journals and online tours. CASE is the professional organization for advancement professionals at all levels who work in alumni relations, communications, and development. The winners of CASE International Circle of Excellence Awards are recognized as models of excellence that advance educational institutions.
